How do you match the paint on my RV in Dallas, TX?

November 29, 2013

RV repair and paint

At Coach Specialists of Texas, one of the most common questions we hear from customers is, “Will the new paint match on my RV?”  This is a great question and one that I’m happy to answer with a resounding YES.  We can ensure that the new paint will match the former paint on your recreational vehicle.  We understand this concern of our customers, because paint colors are important to the selection process when purchasing your RV.  RVs are often designed with unique fades and custom effects, which help your motorhome stand out from the rest.  When you’re in need of new paint, of course you’re going to want it to match what you’ve already chosen for the interior and exterior of your vehicle.

To help you understand our process for painting RVs, here is how we ensure that your paint will match perfectly:

RV repair and paint

·         Expert training in RV paint procedures.  As any good RV repair shop will tell you, our work starts with hiring the right people and making sure that those technicians are trained to get the job done well.  RV repair is a whole different ballgame from standard automotive repair, so we can’t hire just any auto body mechanic to fix and paint an RV.  Someone who has been trained to refinish cars may not have the resources and experience to duplicate factory finishes in the sophisticated ways that are necessary for RV painting.  At Coach Specialists, all of our technicians are highly trained in all aspects of RV repair, including specialized paint work, such as unique fades, special effects, and multiple colors.

·         State-of-the-art equipment and technology.  Unlike automobiles, most motorhomes do not have paint codes in a designated place.  Therefore, we must rely on technology to help us duplicate a factory finish and match. This is done with a state of the art camera system that analyzes and reads the pigments and then produces a paint formula that corresponds.  From there, we utilize our mixing bank and scales to ensure that every different pigment of color is added to the 1/100th of a gram.  It’s a sophisticated process that gives us remarkable precision when painting an RV.

·         First-class RV repair facilities.  When handling RV paint and repairs, a standard auto repair bay just won’t cut it.  Our facilities are designed to handle the largest RVs, motor coaches, buses, and commercial vehicles out there.  Because we have ample space in our shop to handle vehicles of any size, we’re able to access every nook and cranny with freedom and accuracy.

Are you searching for an RV repair shop in Dallas to repaint your motorhome?
At Coach Specialists of Texas, we are experts in all areas of RV paint and repair.  We do custom paint work, delamination repair, siding repair, accessory painting, specialized color-matching, and every other kind of RV repair you might need.  Our shop is equipped with advanced technology and the best-trained technicians in the business.  We promise you’ll be more than satisfied with your RV repair at Coach Specialists!
