Is A SealTech test worth the money?

Are you a Dallas RV owner who suspects that you have a water leak, or are you concerned that your RV might have a crack in the sealants? Then you need to get your unit SealTech tested by an authorized Dallas RV repair shop.
Can you spot the leaky seal on this RV roof?

Coach Specialists of Dallas Texas can!

Picture this: on the first warm day of 2017, you uncover the RV that took you a decade to save up for. The family hits the road in a couple weeks to see America’s greatest National Parks, it’s first spin after Christmas vacation last December, and you want to do a little cleaning. You step inside, expecting the pristine interior to spark the same excitement as the day you bought it, only to discover severe water damage cascading from the roof, down the wall, and across most of the floor.
After a thorough inspection, there is no indication of a crack or a leak anywhere on the exterior. So how did it happen?
Answer: Most likely, microscopic leaks in the exterior seals.
Leaks like this are all too common, and most RV owners don’t notice anything is wrong until some major damage has been done. Water damage is one of the more destructive end results of a leaky seal, but it’s not the only costly repair you can suffer. A leaky seal can also cause problems with your heat/air conditioning, allow for potential bug infestations, or contribute to other major safety concerns in the vehicle’s mechanics.
Do yourself a favor, and avoid that headache by spending a fraction of that money on a preventative SealTech test. This system, patented by SealTech Manufacturing USA, can detect these microscopic exterior leaks before you have thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to contend with.
What is a SealTech test?
SealTech is the leading manufacturer of pressurized leak detection systems and can be used to eliminate with 100% certainty any potential sources of water leaks through leaky sealants.
The system works by pressurizing the entire RV, and then an employee at the shop squirts a soapy water solution on the outside of the entire vehicle. Where there are bubbles, there’s a problem.
The test only takes about an hour to complete, and costs about $200. Keep in mind that repairing the leaks will be an additional cost and exactly how much depends on the repair shop you decide to use.
It is always good advice to look up reviews of and research shops that use this system. If shop A has great reviews utilizing this process, and shop B doesn’t, it may well be that shop A simply has more capable employees and a higher standard of quality. RVs are expensive to buy and repair, so don’t settle for the guys that will slap fresh caulk over a compromised seal and charge you through the roof for it. That is a temporary fix, and you’ll be back in a few months with the same problem.
Don’t wait for a rainstorm or a cold day. Testing by nature is a very risky way to go, just to save a couple hundred bucks. Before your next road trip or before you pack the RV away for the season, get a SealTech test done and protect your investment.
